1. Introduction

i hope that expected stuff to pass slowly

Time ? that thing that we expect to pass slow so we can take advantage of.

Time ? those simple numbers that decide our whole life

with this shortclip we just want to show you how time is running out

sometimes we think having this kind of advancements would make us smarter, more sophisticated or they will just keep us with the trends, but most of the people don't realize that caring just about our present is going to cause a severe damage in our future.

2. Script

First scene

G:  We are situated in 1950 in a typical restaurant watching a group of friends having fun and talking to each other. In this time technologies were not fully developed and people interact between each other without a screen.

PA: Yes, during this time people used to interact with each other naturally and showed themselves as they were.

(CAMBIO ESCENA)

PR: who says that in present people is not natural? Now a days people can interact with people from all around the world and get closer to different cultures.

PA: But look! they are not interacting with their closest friends and they are ignoring each other.

Second scene

G: Round 2, Now lets see what can happen with the children according to the perspective of each one

PA:See! They were so happy back in time! Always playing outdoors.

(CAMBIO ESCENA)

PR: Children are also happy today, Look they have fun in a modern way

PA: Ok, maybe children can have fun, but that entertainment does not change that there are new diseases thanks to your "modern fun".

Third scene

Now let's listen to your opinion about relationships and love in the past and the present.

PA:Look relationships are ruined!

PR: That’s not true ! They’re loving each other through the screen! And they met vía Tinder.

(CAMBIO DE ESCENA)

PA: (past) But they were more connected in the past. They knew how to communicate without using any device, relationships were based on talking face to face, they were based on having to wait to see each other or even to talk to each other.

PR: But real love is not based on waiting for each other, it doesn’t matter if you fall in love through social networks, love is love in the past and in the present, feelings don't change because of new technologies, we just use them as a tool to that find real love easier.

Fourth scene

G:Stop! You are just focusing on your differences. Lets see the things that haven’t change like sports.

PR: Can you see it? There are also good things in the present , technologies can have consequences ,  but it brings people together and it doesn't affect every single  aspect in life, we aren’t robots!

Fifth scene

PA: What are you talking about? people may not be robots, but they don’t show themselves as they are  in social medias. And  real life became social media now a days! It’s like people are wearing a mask all the time and hiding their real personality.  Just because they’re afraid that other persons judge them.

PR:  what’s wrong with wearing masks? If people show themselves with no censure they’ll be in big danger, if they don’t take care they’re going to be cheated by others and society will break. Those masks, those lies protect people and make them feel safer, they are creating shields to protect themselves from the rest of the cruel human raze.

Last scene

G: And if we stop and think about the future? how it will affect us? let’s take a look at how we are taking the road to our own destruction.

People with the naked eye seem happy and usually pass over everything that happens around them.

Thanks to technologies, we don't only have common risks that are exposed to society  and for which the present believes that a shield is necessary.

People ignore the problems that surround us, what happens around them, the consumerism to which globalization takes them.

The fact that we are progressing with advances in technology and informatics  but people are becoming more obsolete.

The stereotypes of a perfect life and the desire to show others a seemingly ideal life.

The easy way
Loss of reason.
We are achieving the extinction of consciousness, the capacity of individual thought.

Shields? You make it look simple, they are walls.

They prevent the development of personality. It is cruel to think of a society so ruined because everyone is locked in a dome and the who is not is really weak.

People with the naked eye seem happy and usually pass over everything that happens around them.

Thanks to technologies, we don't only have common risks that are exposed to society  and for which the present believes that a shield is necessary.

Times up!  The technologies evolve, as we have seen they have many (advantech) advantages and support us in our day to day with improvements in education, health and communication.
However, they drag with them:

      Consumerism.
Surplus and waste.
Addiction.
Human obsolescence
Less face-to-face interaction
Depression.
Overweight.
Auditory and visual problems.
Programmed obsolescence.
Acid rain.
Loss of praivecy
Cyberaislation. (ciberaisleyshon)
Artificial relationships
Loss of links
Computer risks.
Insomnia.
Stress disorders.
Psychological problems.

So do you think these problems are insignificant?

 In health, the environment, society, how far can they go? They (inveid)invade us.
 Are we going to wait for the time to run out? Think about it.

Are you willing to collaborate?

Can we change before we reach our own destruction?

4. Opinion 

 

In my opinion, we all had a lot of fun doing the project. Filming the movie was full of madness, like running in the street dressed up in a 50's-years costume or trying to film in Wok's bathroom. Although sometimes it was stressful, because we were running out of time, I think that all the work worth it and I'm very happy with the final result.

Laura Duarte

In my personal point of view we have learnt a lot doing this shot clip, but we also had a lot of funny and amazing moments filming. Because of this I think that it is an excellent way to learn english in a interactive method. My recommendation for the next generation in this project is to manee their time and be careful with deadlines if you are not you will be so worried and stressed. What an incredible experience!

I'm my opinion it was a great experience we manage to get everything right. we solved our problems and everyone did a part of the work. we have a lot of expectatives with our work because we put a lot of effort and time on it.

Violeta Salazar

I think during filming time were setbacks and inconveniences, every one helped and put a lot of effort on it. We are all very excited about this project and I think that at the end everything was quite good, even better than we could have expected.
